Coaching Team

Richard Telford — Flatwork (1 hour lesson)

A hugely respected and sought-after coach, Richard brings over 30 years of professional experience producing and training horses across multiple disciplines.

Richard has achieved wins and championships at the UK’s most prestigious shows, including:

• HOYS
• RIHS
• Olympia
• Royal Windsor Horse Show
• Great Yorkshire Show
• Royal Highland Show

He has successfully produced and shown a wide variety of horses and ponies — from hacks to hunters, cobs to M&Ms, in-hand and ridden. Alongside showing, Richard has competed event horses up to CCI2* and is active in British Dressage.

Richard is passionate about developing riders and horses, with coaching experience across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. He is also a respected judge on multiple panels and has officiated at major national and international shows.

This is an exceptional opportunity to train with one of the best in the industry.

Douglas Crawford — Jumping (small group lesson)

UKCC Level 2 coach Douglas Crawford brings a wealth of eventing experience, having competed successfully up to 3* level. He also has a strong background in the show ring.

Douglas’s jumping sessions will be run in groups of 3, using a mixture of working hunter fences and arena eventing-style lines to challenge and develop both horse and rider.
